I bought this case along with my new SD600 begin underwater photos. . . the case is simple to use and up, took photos at 110 meters, no problems, no leaks. . .
gave only 4 stars because it is the case, pretty much live in shallow water for a sore throat to see it hanging in front of you, but it is not so bad. . .
Last weekend I took the SD600/WP-DC4 a dive 60 feet and was
able, images and video to 15 foot visibility. The dive master said that he would "oil" the O-ring must, because it was new. The "oil" is to maintain flexibility and O-ring requires only enough to moisten well. Time will tell. I would also like to buy a nice fold-belt, attach the BC you can expand and secure when not using the camera. It's a good idea to give the camera to someone on board the vessel and to your hand before you jump in the water. This could drop to a command, etc. There was even a separate bucket of clean water only for the cameras. Have fun, has probably some "free" O-ring to buy the safe side. Too early to give 5 stars. It should be noted that someone else is a "Sea Life" had a digital camera, I believe, the DC500. Apparently it is "locked" to him and he could not in all pictures, etc. receiving
I bought this case in October 2007 specifically for my honeymoon in French Polynesia (Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora).
It would be worth every penny paid, a really fantastic and worthwhile investment.
This camera case, carried out well and no problems while diving at a depth of about 27 meters (89 feet). And it was as good on the surface during the frequent and sudden rain shower that quickly from a blow to Tahiti and its islands.
Even on the black sand beaches of Tahiti, where the sand is very fine, the water seal was intact.
All controls are easily accessible, smooth and effortless to use.
I followed the included manual, strap, and the place where I never had a problem. In fact, most days of the case not left my wrist!
At depths of 27 meters (89 feet), the final picture was a little blue, even if the camera was in "Underwater" mode. This was expected, however, is not an artifact of the case, and if I manually white balanced properly, the blue-staining was significantly reduced.
The case was initially foggy sometimes, but after a recommendation, I put a packet of silica spheres (ie, the "Do not eat") was fog, and never again.
I was about to wash the case with fresh water for at least the end of each day, religious, and sometimes two or three times a day - depending on the time interval from the last time the case was in the water when dried.
As a general rule, follow the guidelines for cleaning, as I do for my device soft: immediately clear, cold water, dry with a clean lint-free cloth to keep it protected from direct sunlight.
In French Polynesia, I found a good government, to flush the housing with a detachable shower head, then patted dry catchment areas and played a few quick, strong inhalation of droplets dry air in the corners, hiding again then you can dry in a cool, shady place, with some ventilation overnight.
In the morning the case was ready to go without on-site and waterproof.
I would highly recommend this case because it was perfect, and invest a great value for money.
* I do not recommend buying the extra weight block.
In salt water, was the case, plus camera almost neutral momentum.
In the pools were the case, plus camera slightly negative dynamic (apparently as fresh water is less).
Add the extra weight block is unnecessary market and is sure to cause the case, and your camera to sink safely.
*** I have pictures and published in French Polynesia in the product about this product to be. ***
