This lens has impressed me to no end. It is incredibly sharp even wide open. The zoom range is extremely handy. The build quality is excellent. Now, to be fair, the first one I got I had to send back because it was “front focusing” but I had NO problems returning it and getting a new one which was perfect! This lens is an exceptional deal and with the Sony A100 you get the benefit of image stabilization added to this incredibly sharp fast lens!!! It’s my new best friend!
