I just installed this on my new Sony A350 and am very impressed with it. It adds virtually no weight to the camera and is almost undetectable that its even on there. About the only way you can tell its there is the name SONY at the bottom of the screen is no longer visible. This protector will certainly help keep the LCD protected and adds a great deal of peace of mind in handling the camera. Installation was so simple and easy that I think even a dummy could do it. If you own an A350 you owe it to yourself and your camera to install one of these. No Joke!

    Amazon Verified Purchase(What’s this?)

I bought my Sony A300 about 6 months ago, and I initially purchased the Sony plastic ’slide-on’ LCD screen protector. At first it seemed like a good buy because it did its job of protector the screen. Soon afterwards though the slide-on protector would easily slide-off whenever I would try to clean it with a cloth. It became so lose that it ended up falling-off without me even knowing and of course Murphy’s Law occured and I ended up with a few deep scratches to the LCD screen. After this bad experience with ’slide-on’ plastic protector, I decided to look around and find a real solid LCD protector. There are other flimsy looking protectors that just have a simple sticky plastic cover (mostly for mobile phones), but I could just see that eventually peeling off. I eventually found the GGS Optical Glass LCD screen protector, and having just received it in the mail and putting it on my A300’s screen (the A350 and A300 have the same LCD Screen size), I definitely agree with the previous review that this is a great product. . . and at $9. 95 it’s at a great price as well! It’s much slimmer than I thought it would be, but no need to worry as it’s not flimsy or fragile. It looks and feels solid, but at the same time it doesn’t protrude out like the authentic Sony plastic protector. To put it simply, it seemlessly integrates onto your LCD screen, and the only downside is it covers the ‘Sony’ logo on the bottom of your screen. That’s it! Other than that it looks great, very smooth and easy to clean (unlike the plastic slide-on protectors!). . . and again, a great price! Definitely the best $10 you can spend on protecting your DSLR’s LCD screen.
